We've always pushed the boundary of where technology helps to improve the communication of our built environment. Our passion lies in the space between exploring new computer based tools and conveying that "Ah-ha moment" to the audience. Our work encompasses graphics and identity, strategy and positioning, websites and digital experiences, advertising & communications, 3D visualizations, sound and motion.
We believe that design begins with a basic question: what is the story you want to tell? Then, through a process of listening, observing, experimenting, and strategizing, a visual understanding is reached and a design language that articulates the message you are trying to get across is born. Pulling together the brand ideation and visuals to inspire your audience - that's where it starts to get exciting.
Our branding team has extensive experience establishing retail, property and development brands in the real estate market. Retail lifestyle centers, commercial office buildings, residential apartments, condominiums, and mixed-use developments have turned to Interface to grab audiences and bring real pedestrian traffic to their stores, businesses and entertainment facilities.
Evoking a mood, documenting a place, giving a project context and meaning; only the moving picture can do all this so concisely. Let's face it, audiences are drawn to moving images perhaps more than any other medium. We see this as an ideal opportunity to engage them with our clients' vision, branding, and calls to action.

The company boasts a lot of clients for web design. Mine is one of them. However, we're in the process of finding a replacement. Here are a few reasons: (1) Whenever our website encounters a problem (it stops loading for several hours, or a feature Interface designed a week earlier suddenly breaks), Interface accepts zero responsibility. At first, we believed them. Silly us.

Now we understand that this has been a pattern for many years, and that 9 times out of 10, the responsibility lies with Interface. (2) Their personnel are frequently non-responsive. A few months ago we requested a price quote for a new web feature. We've reminded them three times that we want to proceed, and simply need to confirm this upgrade will align with our budget.

They will not get back to us. It doesn't make sense. (3) Beware of their web design process. They designed our site so that whenever we want to change a small feature, it costs about $2,000 to do it. We simply have no control over most of our site. A few folks in our office know some HTML, but that doesn't come in handy here. We're stuck with the site we paid for, unless we want to pay Interface 20,000 to $30,000 to make modest changes.

The third concern would not be so bad if Interface's staff accepted responsibility occasionally and responded to most of our questions within, say, two or three business days. But we are prepared to jump ship after six years because at some point they stopped caring about customer service.
