Avenue 4 The American Institute of Architects East Bay Chapter came to us to develop a new identity for their annual Home Tours event. Home Tours have historically been focused on showcasing beautifully designed, high end homes. AIA East Bay was creating a new brand of Home Tours that was to be inclusive, showcasing all manner of homes, such as tiny homes, live-work spaces, affordable housing, assisted living and others. Our goal was to communicate a few concepts via the language and visuals: New perspectives, inclusivity, approachability and optimism.

Working with Avenue 4, it's about creative collaboration that's straight-forward and genuine. We spend a lot of time listening to and understanding the central message you want to communicate out into the world. The process isn't surrounded by ego, and we don't wrap everything in big language designed to impress.
We met in 1996 and quickly formed a strong friendship. In 2002 we embarked on our first creative project together and later that year we formed a company. Vivienne's career has been focused on translating ideas into identities and goals into design solutions.
Above all else, Avenue 4 is a branding agency. Whether we develop your brand and visual identity or we inherit an existing one, our full suite of services is designed to mobilize your brand and heighten the impact it has out in the world. Founded in 2002, we have a long track record of creating both online and traditional materials that bring our clients' brands to life.

I've worked with Avenue 4 Design on multiple projects over the past couple years and I'm always impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. They are true branding experts and it shows in both their graphic design skills and their ability to effectively communicate with businesses, bringing their visions to life. I would definitely recommend them for any company looking to get their brand off the ground or improve their current brand positioning.
