While living in Manhattan in 1992, Devious Design was born. The studio was founded on the dictionary definition of deviousness: a departure from the straight or regular course. Devious began operation as a fun little studio, which offered personal attention, and modest prices to our clients. Those same principles remain today. During Kenneth's (Creative Director) time in Manhattan, he also served a year and a half as Senior Graphic Artist for "The Late Show With David Letterman" during the move from NBC to CBS. Other clients include: ESPN, Atlantic Records, DKNY, Greenpeace, Eastman Kodak.

In 1992, I founded Devious Design, Inc. in Manhattan. The idea behind the venture was to maintain a "fun little studio, which produced high-quality design work at modest prices". Those same principles apply today. The name devious was a controversial choice with my peers in New York, however, I like the dictionary definition: Veering from the straight or common course.
Devious Design was contracted to design the logo by Worldwide Pants: Letterman's production company. Self promotion logo for design studio, which first began in New York City in 1991. Moved to Half moon bay, california in the late 90's, then to key west, florida before settling in springdale, Arkansas.
Following the annual Half Moon Bay forth of July parade where Devious Design and some close friends participated and marked the official beginning of the magazine we held a launch party. Practically the entire town was invited. Toward the end of the second year, Devious Design made the decision to tweak the cover.
Morning Dew coats a spiders web seemingly protecting berries on the grounds of mount jackass plantation. In 2013, Devious Design moved to Springdale, Arkansas. We actually live in Tontitown, Arkansas in a home we call affectionally Mount Jackass Plantation. The purpose of the move was to found our substance abuse and mental health private practice, Sweet Emotions Counseling.
A Glimpse inside this once rural sugar plantation now in the heart of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Below is some of my latest work. I am daily photographing around Northwest Arkansas, and my wife and my property: Affectionately know as Mount Jackass Plantation. I named the place and believe me, like the name much more than Mandy, and my mother do.

As the Principal and Creative Director of the award-winning studio, Devious Design, Kenneth W. Davis has been in the design and art direction business for 25 years. Born in Baton Rouge, LA and Graduating from L.S.U., he moved to New York City to graduate from Parsons School of Design. While living in Manhattan in 1992, Devious Design was born. The studio was founded on the dictionary definition of deviousness: a departure from the straight or regular course.
