The Kohala Center (Independent, community-based center for research, conservation, and education): Beautiful Hawaiian imagery graces this clean and airy layout. I was lucky enough to score this project thanks to an old business partner who relocated to Hawaii's big island. To be fair, the layout was initiated by another designer, but couldn't complete the project.
PeopleFund creates economic opportunity and financial stability for underserved people by providing access to capital, education, and resources to build healthy small businesses. We initiated PeopleFund's branding with a pocket folder/media kit. This was a modular solution, with folded brochures slipping into slots on the pocket.

I would give them a solid grade for the work, it's a legitimate company. However they could be a lot more friendly to clients- we never even got a thank you for being a client and were treated very rudely on one visit (it really upset my wife). Whatever happened to a "thank you for your business, please consider us for your future business needs?"

Graphic Granola designed branding and a logo for me. They did a thorough exploration of my values and personality before starting the design process, which made all the difference. They presented me with more concepts than our contract stipulated, free of charge. They worked closely with me on refining the logo and brand, and then produced an awesome final product, and a business card I always get compliments on. I would work with them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them highly for graphic design, especially branding.

DO NOT USE THIS GRAPHIC DESIGN COMPANY! This company will promise you the world, take your money, and not provide you with any useable, original work. They do a great job at copying any other designer out there and then turning it around and calling it their original work. They will not follow their time lines, give you no options, and then when you ask to cancel their contract, they inflate their hours and amount you own them and won't refund your money. They are crooks and should be put out of business!
