We at A good guy HVAC-R LLC in Phila area are sympathetic and hip to your alarm monitoring situation. I can't believe they got all their Buddys to make up fake profiles just to attack their ex customers by leaving bad reviews. Sounds like we got a case for a class action. maybe slander. I guess it's only a matter of time before they give me more bad reviews.
They are a friend network of alarm partners, an OJ Simpson quality wicked smart Lawer and a crooked collection company. All related but separate companies. I'm sorry they made your score look bad when you clearly have only been open for a short time. Just remember they may have left us 1 bad review, But they have many many bad reviews. We will bounce back.

I regrettably cannot comment on this company's service; they received my material - two video tapes and two cassette tapes - on 29 August. They asked if I need it in a hurry - which meant within two weeks - and I said No. I heard nothing from them, and called them mid December to see what the status was. Turns out, they had done nothing on my project.
They said they had been unsure how to break up the video as it would not fit on one DVD and they were unsure if I wanted breaks in the cassette/CD transfer. I asked why no one had called me (my phone number was on the work order) in the over three months they had my material. They admitted they had dropped the ball. I asked if I could pick up my material the next morning and they assured me I could.
When I was downtown the next morning (for other reasons) I called before I headed over to their location, only to be told that no one was at that location that morning and wouldn't be there until late afternoon. I asked if they would please let me know when and where I could pick up my material, they said they would call me back. Needless to say they didn't.
I phoned the next day - and was then told the materials were now at their Leawood location and I could pick them up. A pity when a company does not appear to value customer service. Read our review guidelines

"RUN AWAY, UNTRUSTWORTHY. Unless you like being overcharged. " "This company will take advantage of you. They will charge you more than their advertised price. They will also continue to charge you long after" But I cannot recommend this company. I supposedly canceled again, yet the next day they charged my card." - We did business with this company and they failed to honor their contract for services with us.
Then because we requested them to honor it, these are the type of comments this company owner of this company makes when you do business with them and they fail to follow the contract for services. Then if a single ONE STAR is not enough for r. miller, he makes a second, third and fourth one star with additional comments under pseudo names/ emails and then gets his wife to do the same under her email address.
So you will get FIVE single starts in an attempt to HURT your business. Is this really a business you want to deal with? SO this is OUR review of the company Something different.

I needed some videos put on DVDs instead of a flash drive for a legal proceeding. The tribunal would not accept flash drives - insisted on DVDs. Something Different was most responsive to my needs, created the DVDs right away, and I got the data submitted to the court in time. I can't say enough good things about Something Different. They are great people to work with.
